Educational activity in the lab is grounded in ongoing research and collaboration with public institutions.

We work with students and early-career researchers interested in understanding and designing health and social development systems across disciplinary boundaries.

Opportunities include supervised undergraduate research, master’s and doctoral theses, visiting research periods, and project-based collaboration tied to real systems and data.

Educational activities are supported through university programs, research grants, and institutional partnerships.

Are you new to health systems and data-driven research?

Selected materials, readings, and tools developed in the lab are made available as open resources to support independent learning.

Are you an undergraduate student?

Opportunities are available to participate in supervised research projects related to hospital operations, community health systems, and applied data science.

Are you a master’s or doctoral student?

The lab hosts thesis and dissertation projects that combine methodological rigor with applied relevance, often in collaboration with healthcare institutions or public agencies.

Are you an early-career researcher or research professional?

We periodically host visiting researchers, short-term collaborators, and project-based research fellows interested in health systems, operations, and policy.

Are you seeking an immersive research experience?

When possible, the lab supports intensive project periods tied to fieldwork, data integration, or
deployment of decision-support tools within partner organizations.

Educational activities in the lab are supported through university programs, research grants, and collaborations with public and private partners. Participation is typically integrated with ongoing research projects rather than offered as stand-alone coursework.
